The General Manager schedules
and presides over all executive board meetings. He/she is the liaison between
WBTY and all external organizations, both on and off campus. He/she is
responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of WBTY.
The Station Manager schedules
and presides over all General Board meetings and takes over the
responsibilities of General Manager in his/her absence. He/she will be the
liaison between the general members and executive board. He/she will be
responsible for contacting general board members and taking attendance in
regards to the general meetings. He/she will work with the Programming
Director to create a list of dedicated members when it comes time to choose
show times the following semester.
The External Music Director
maintains communications with record labels. He/She also obtains promotional
materials, responsible for the purchasing of new albums, and serves as
chairperson of the Music Committee. He/She is also responsible for
appointing all music sub-directors (i.e. Rap, Alternative…) and monitoring
their activities. He/She, in coordination with the Internal Music Director,
compiles and reports the WBTY playlists to the various industry journals.
The Internal Music Director, in
coordination with the External Music Director, compiles and reports the WBTY
playlist to the various industry journals. He/She is responsible for DJ log
sheet review, as well as maintaining inventory.
He/She is in charge of keeping
attendance and the minutes of the Executive Board. He/She is also in charge
of organizing the budget, act as a liaison to AIA, and is responsible for the collection of all receivables and
payment of all debt.
The Programming Director is
responsible for training and monitoring DJ's and for organizing DJ
schedules. The Programming Director is also responsible for making sure that
DJ's are following proper format, maintaining log sheet folders and keeping
an ample amount of log sheets in the station.
The Public Relations (PR)
Director publicizes WBTY on and off campus. He/She oversees advertisements
and giveaways over the air as well as WBTY events and services. He/She is
also responsible for compiling public service announcements and insuring
that WBTY complies with the governing rules of Bentley College. The PR
Director also aides in the promotion of individual DJ shows. The Public
Relations Director is responsible for forming any committees to help aid in
the promotions.
The Engineer is responsible for
originating various taped announcements to be heard on the air. These
announcements seek to publicize and promote WBTY and its events. The
Engineer is also responsible for the upkeep and purchasing of equipment.
He/She acts as a liaison between WBTY and outside engineers.
The Sports Director is in charge
of broadcasting all of the home football and basketball games, as well as
the away contests when applicable. The Sports Director is also responsible
for the operation and maintenance of all the sports equipment. The Sports
Director is responsible for forming any broadcasting committees to aid in
the coverage of the events.

The Web Master is in charge of
maintaining and upgrading all web site materials. The Web Master must be in
contact with all other executive board members and update their pages
accordingly. The Web Master has the responsibility of forming and being
chair of any committees that deal with the WBTY web site.
